How will you be paying for the home??????..............

I can not tell you how many calls I get to purchase a home.  Buyers wanting to purchase a home for $250,000.  Well that is wonderful, but can you pay for the home cash??? Are you getting a mortgage to purchase the home??? Is the mortgage going to be conventional, FHA, or VA???  Some buyers get offended when I ask, how they are going to purchase the home?  This is why I ask all my buyers to get a pre approval from one of the lenders that we work with or with a reputable lender that we know will get them from a pre approval stage to actually closing on the home.  There are many factors involved in the pre approval process and it is important to obtain a pre approval that is valid and will get the buyers to close on the home that they are considering.  ALSO, a pre approval prior to going to to look at homes give the buyers a solid number as to what they can purchase and also an idea of what their monthly payments will be.  So the next time you call me or another Realtor, please understand why we ask....are you pre approved for a mortgage???  We are only trying to may your home buying process as smooth as possible.
